a) Explain the different characters and objects in the parable, who/what are they? 

i) How does each group understand the master? 

ii) How does that change what they do with talents? 

b) Does reading this parable make us feel confident in our salvation? 

i) Then what’s the point? 

ii) What’s our comfort? What’s our encouragement? 

2) The Sheep and the Goats 

a) How many division of people are there? 

i) What do we learn from this? 

ii) Is this for our comfort or as a warning? 

b) What kinds of works are attributed to the faithful? 

i) What does this tell us about faith? 

ii) Where is it practiced? 

c) What are the goats lacking? 

i) Why? What is the source of these works? 

ii) Whose fault is it that they’re condemned?
