Creed (Back Cover)

  1.  The Negotiation

    1. Where does Boaz go? Why?

      1. How many men does he gather?

      2. What’s the advantage of doing business like this, rather than the way we do it?

    2. Who owns the land now? Why?

      1. What did it mean to own land?

      2. Who was the true owner?

    3. The other man at first agrees to redeem the land. What changes his mind?

      1. Why would this give him pause?

      2. Who would ultimately have possession of the land?

  2. The Redemption

    1. Describe the interesting custom they perform.

      1. What’s the point of it?

      2. Why was it so important to establish witnesses?

    2. How does Boaz explain the purpose of the redemption?

      1. What’s interesting about Ruth’s part in this?

      2. How, again, does this point us to Christ?

        1. What do the elders say to make the same point?
